Back What is a Godly path in the modern world?
(on Alfredic Mission)

... I am interested in religion as a guidance to behaviour which makes a difference to the kind of world we live in.

I believe that modern christianity is seen as irrelevant by the majority of the population because its most visible practitioners are unwilling to grapple with important contemporary issues.

We can see that it is a result of Satanic influence that the population of Western countries have become averse to Christianity, (or adopted distorted versions of Christianity) and that the large churches have not provided the ministry that they really should be.

For the population to return to God they must have have leaders to show them the way, i.e. to suggest to them what is a Godly path in modern circumstances.

Sadly we must admit that Mohammedans are ahead of us (in making religion relevant to peoples lives) at the moment, however surely we will be able to do better than they if we applied ourselves with greater determination.

I believe that Saint Alfred the Great has been sent by God to us to inspire the Anglo-Saxons of today. We must reject the ways of Lucifer-Satan and (help) build a new Kingdom of God across the world.

Thus we have the 'Alfredic Mission' which is for all who wish to see the world below a little more like the heaven above, and are willing to take practical steps to do this under the patronage of Saint Alfred the Great. Those who take up the challenge become followers or companions of Saint Alfred.

Our new kingdom will be founded on traditional Anglo-Saxon principles of individual and collective freedom combined with fear of God.

Currently our people are not free, but are held captive by Lucifer. This manifests in the way they are manipulated through the messages of formal education and mass communication, the pull of money, and the push of state sanctioned force.

To free our people we must being all these instruments under the hand of God.

In practical terms we could start by insisting that those who are responsible for the messages of mass communication should honestly seek to portray the truth as best they can. This means that coverage of particular issues should be truthful to the evidence, and that the proportionate significance given to different issues should match the real spread of importance of matters that require attention.

However for us to judge the media we must first ourselves gain a good understanding of the affairs of the world. This can be difficult as we usually rely on the mass media itself to tell us what is what. However there are other sources of information available (e.g. through the Internet) that can be seen to be much more honest than is available from the mainstream.

Thus those interested in being followers or companions of Saint Alfred must first look to their own political education, as well as their moral education. When they have reached a sufficient level they should then seek to attract others to the work and create a fellowship or company of Saint Alfred. A good company of Saint Alfred would then both seek to encourage further companies to form, and also encourage those remaining outside the church to come closer to the path of God.
