Anglochristian Social Movement

Some pointers - September 2025

A political way forward for England and the UK.

We believe that the English government must be formed of 'Anglochristians'.

We want to see the formation of a new 'English Ruling Class' bound by a shared 'Anglochristian' identity.

Being Anglochristian combines English ethnicity with what we think of as Christian values

Our values can maybe be described as:
   1. Thinking, speaking and acting in truth to reality.
   2. Acting in support of that which brings life.
   3. Respecting the dignity of the human person.

The Anglochristian movement seeks not to align fully with any single religious denomination. While religious unity would be beneficial to the solidarity of an Anglochristian ruling class, we don't think it is self-evident what religious pathway is best for the current time, and therefore a degree of freedom for people to take diverse viewpoints and diverge from tradition is necessary for the forseeable future.

However in particular as we do not have a tight religious identity we do insist that Anglochristians have a strong 'English identity'.

We consider that the core of English ethnic identity is 'Anglo-Saxon' identity - one which was forged in the Old English period from continental incomers and native Britons who came to share the same language and shared national feeling under kings such as Alfred and Athelstan. Nevertheless we are not purists and recognise that national identity is not solely a matter of where you come from, but also of where you are choosing to go.

An Anglochristian is heir to the political traditions of the English people, while understanding this is a living tradition which may need to evolve to meet our current conditions.

By Socialism we imply at least two things in particular. Firstly we just mean 'a way of approaching the ordering of our society'. Secondly we mean 'an outlook which is conscious of the struggle between the needs and wishes of the majority of people and that of a smaller group who may wish to dominate them for their own private benefit at the expense of the majority'.

Anglochristian Socialists recognise the benefits of both conservative and radical ways of thinking - i.e. of both valuing traditional ways and of seeking to develop new ways. Nevertheless we are ourselves more inclined to the radical.

In like vein Anglochristians value the established Christian tradition but are also open to new religious thinking and practice. Indeed as radicals we are inclined to see whether we can improve on traditional religion. However as realists we recognise that this is not an easy task, and so we wish to keep in contact with the wisdom of the past.

Anglochristians believe there must be solidarity of the English Ruling Class - which we envisage as an Anglochristian ruling class. Only thus can we have a government which can work in a healthy way for the benefit of the population as a whole.

Given an Anglochristian government which is healthy, strong and capable and motivated to see the flourishing of the people of the land, we believe that the right decisions will be made as to questions of social policy. We believe this should include creating a good home for the indigenous English people. Nevertheless an Anglochristian government which was confident in its position could and should allow for a degree of social pluralism, of different ways of living, including for those who are not characteristically English or Anglochristian.

The way forward:

We wish to see competition between the Churches of England to support the Anglochristian movement. This will primarily be in fostering the growth of people in wisdom and good character so that they can take their place in leading roles in society, collaborate with other Anglochristians, of the same or different denomination and others of like motivation, and do a good job for the people of the land.
